OK Why Not

The Sweet Life brings to you "Ok, why not?"  For no reason in particular, why not?  Why not meaning give it a shot.  When it comes to your health, their is absolutely no reason to be afraid of change.  Whether it comes from the cardio side of training or the heavy metal (weight training, but heavy metal sounds more awesome) side.  Change is Good!

Some gym goers like to do cardio out right away.  This isn't a bad thing at all, but if you're trying to nail some lifting after, you may be a little out of it.  In honor of  "OK why not", try doing cardio for a good 10-15 minutes, hit the weights and then finish off your cardio.  If you took in a good portion sized breakfast, you should have a good 150 to 300 calories in your system ready to burn.  These good calories, mostly comprised of complex cards and protein, will give you the energy to target your muscle group for the day.  After burning off your good calories, go after your 20-40 minutes of cardio.  In this way, you warmed up enough to drastically lower the risk of injury, had energy to hit your muscular task for the day and now your using cardio to destroy your bodyfat.  So keep in mind to hit 10-15 minutes of cardio, push yourself in weight training and then focus on hitting your bodyfat with a little more cardio at the end.  Ok, why not?

This craze has been on the rise as of late in many gyms around the world.  The art of the foam roll.  I can attest to this that it is the best thing I have tried in my fitness career.  Muscle fascia is a fibrous tissue that coats muscles throughout your entire body.  Foam Rolling is a great phenomenal way to break up tight fascia in tender areas and relieving tension along trigger points. Rolling these areas decrease density and over-activity will result in better motion along with flexibility.

Foam roll before and after the workout.  Over time you will feel a whole lot better flexibility, range of motion and overall better health.  Ok, why not?

So in essences, take a look into these tips and run with them.  Life is short!  It's what you make of it.  It's already August, so live it to the max in healthy way.  The more you commit to fitness now, the more you will be able to play with your children and grandchildren in the future.  Plus, you save a whole lot in health insurance as the years pass.  Fitness can change life!  Ok, why not?
