Feel Good Friday

It's finally Friday! After a long week of nonsense and discussions on how all the Football games went last week, we have another 48 to 72 hours to make it happen yet again.  Another 48 to 72 hours to bag as many chicks as possible.

Time to bond with family and friends you haven't had a chance to see because your boss is a douche.

Time to throw some beer back with fellow footballs while discussing how bad Tebow is and how awesome the Packers are. Notice that I didn't mention the Jets because I believe that they have a long way to go.  They still play like shit, but that's another article for another day.

Time to stand up and live by the words "FUCK IT" because life is too short, you are still young and you don't have work until 8am Monday morning.  Regardless of how the night goes, you are still awesome because you made it the best night possible with the best people time can buy.

It's time to have have the best time possible with family, friends and chasing tail. Now usally I would go in on the art of booty chasing since I bagged the best ass there is, but I'm going to change the mood a bit.

We have all we might possibly have so far in life.  Most of us have good health, jobs (even though they may not meet the ends) and the ability to go out with whoever we want.  At times, we take this gifts for granted.  We, at times, don't think of those that are dealing with real issues.  Issues like traveling for work, in which seeing family is out of their hands, helping out sick family members, etc.

Lets celebrate the weekend for those that can't celebrate it.  Let us celebrate the weekend for this guy right here.  He's a soldier on active duty spending time with his daughter thanks to the power of technology.  All credit goes to WelcomeHomeBlog.com

So remember amigos, the weekend is a beautiful thing.  No matter what the situation may be, make the best of it for yourself and for those that can't.  Walk around with a big smile on your face and when a bottle girl/waitress brings your drink, tell them thank you with a tip and smile.  Make someone  day because for that moment you made them happy.  You made them forget their problems with a smile and being a non-douche bag.  In return, you'll feel better in the process and you never know what can happen because that's how life it.

Deaming out loud!

"Soon everything will be the way we dreamed! God has written his path, & we have faith in every min he gives us the love for what we do! Sacrifices and dreams are not in vain! There is a reason we keep our head high in the struggle for our dream! It’s called faith in God!" –Jillian V

Racing Thoughts

Recently my younger brother and his wife, recently married, brought into this world a new baby boy.  Close to 4 months into his short life, he has single handedly made an entire world smile.  From his annoying cries to his lovable smile, "The Viruet" household know that he will be a trouble making in the coming years, which isn't a bad thing.

Here is a pic of my nephew. When I win my 1st NPC bodybuildin... on Twitpic

These past few weeks have been a little different though.  Wish new goals set in my books, I can see myself setting things up from my nephew.  Whether it's taking him out ocasionally or even holding him for 5 minutes, I feel a connection thought I haven't felt before in my life.  In my opinon, I believe this comes to be since he is the first nephew I have ever had.  Either way, it has been an awesome experience.

The legend lives!!!! #ViruetFam @Disturb_Vision @MrOmarTorres... on Twitpic

As I stated before on Twitter, when I win my first NPC competition, I'm giving him a good portion of the spoils.  I love him to death!  Eli Viruet is going to smile for many many many years to come.

Run Away!

Thinking back on things, you wonder where the time went and who is still around. I'm usually a loner however I am a great friend... I'm there at the drop of a hat! Sometimes when you need someone the most, that's when the relationship is tested, if it fails, life goes on! I've been there one too many times and it never easy, but seeing how I have done it before, its like riding a bike.... not only do you remember how to ride, but you keep moving forward!

39 Days And Counting

37 days out from the start to my competition season and I'm loving every minute of it.  The diet has been a pain in the ass at times, but my focus is on the benefits of it.  My weight and bodyfat has been dropping week to week resulting in my body frame improving drastically.

For those that have competed and dieted hard know that maintaining your muscularity can be difficult.  With you caloric intake being low, the diet has to be inconjuction with bodily needs.  First and foremost, you protein intake needs to remain at a high level.  Not off season, but high enough to at least maintain the lean muscle you have.  Here's a breakdown for the protein end of the diet that I have been using as of late.  These calculations are base on your bodyweight.

Lifestyle/Training Goal Daily Protein Needs Lifestyle/Training Goal Daily Protein Needs

          Bodybuilding 1.0 - 1.6g/lb bodyweight Endurance 0.7 - 0.9g/lb bodyweight
          Dieting 0.35 - 1.0g/lb bodyweight Stressed 0.45 - 0.7g/lb bodyweight

Having explained the protein end of the diet, it's time to hit the carb end of it.  For competition purpose, my carb count is low.  At the moment, I've been flirting between 65 - 80 grams per day.  They have been strategically placed for meal 1, preworkout and post-workout.  In this way, I can try to prevent fatigue throughout the day.  It helps, but just so much do to low energy.  If you don't know by now coffee and teas have been my best friend throughout my awesome ordeal.

In closing, diets are very rewarding, but can be hellish.  On a side note, I just realized that "Hello Kitty" was in the background.  With that being said, shout out to Jillian for being awesome!

Stay Focused!!!!!

What I Have In Mind

Since venturing into the world of entertainment at the beginning of the year, I see myself wishing that I would of made this move a earlier in life.  I surf through magazines, websites, etc knowing that I should be on the cover.  I don't view this as been conceded or vain, but confident that no one has what I have to offer.

I started off chasing management in the fitness industry with much success.  I was proud to have helped the gym I was managing at the time improve their profit and lost margins.  The facility was in the top 20 percent nation wide.  Mind you the gym chain was a little over 300 clubs.  The experience was great to have since my goals in the near future is to open up my own fitness facility.  I was able to obtain a ton of knowledge regarding behind the scenes action.  With that being said, the company filed for chapter 13 and I had to look over my values.

I always had an urge to be in the spot light even though it wasn't really portrayed throughout my youth.  I was heavy into sports and the awards I was always up for was "The Spartan Spirit" and "Unsung Hero."  The Spartan Spirit award was for the player that would give their all on every play.  The Unsung Hero was a silent leader who lead by example.  Someone not really vocal, but his actions spoke louder than words.  I hold those awards on my wall til this day because I still believe in that.  I rarely get very preachy, but when the time comes I will open my mouth and unleash hell.  It's the nature of the beast.

Everyday paves the road for the following day.  You live in the now knowing what the past has done while setting up for the future.  This is what I'm focus on now.

1.     Become a pro Fitness/Bodybuilder

2.     Grace the cover of a entertainment/fitness magazine

3.     Become a house hold name

4.     Become the greatest and most hated villain in movie/TV history

5.     Travel the world when I'm 30 years old

Those are a few item on my at the moment.  I still hold on to the fitness lifestyle because I love every minute of it.  It's my home away from home.  My vacation from reality and it improves my presence.  I aim high because I'm on top of the world.

Kim Kardashian is at it again!!

Kim Kardashian filed a lawsuit against, Old Navy... the known low- priced clothing chain for using her look-alike, Melissa Molinaro, in their new series of advertisements. Melissa, a pop tart musician... dresses a little too close to Kardashian, even posing for "paparazzi" in the campaign.

The reality princess sued Old Navy and, The Gap Inc., in a Los Angeles federal court alleging that the company "deliberately infringed upon her public persona by deceiving people into thinking it was her in the advertisement".
TMZ reports that the lawsuit is asking for nearly $20 million in damages!! Holy crap! I wonder how much they spent on the campaign itself and what Kardasion as well as The Gap inc. rounded the profit would pull??!

Seeing as how it became so public, Kim is only bringing more publicity to the campaign as well as her look alike, who is reportingly now dating Kim’s X Reggie Bush... (umm ok).
"I've worked hard to support the products I'm personally involved with and that I believe in," Kardashian said in the release. Considering the lawsuit became so major after reports of Reggie dating his Kim #2, do you think it only became noticeable to Kim because of that? Hmm seems a little too coincidental.

The video of the ad is available on YouTube and has been viewed by 2 million people. Titled "super C.U.T.E." began airing in February. You can see it below:

Popular Multimedia reports:

"The look-alike, Melissa Molinaro, is an actress, dancer and singer. She was a competitor on the show 'Pussycat Dolls Present, The Search for the Next Doll' and 'Making the Band 3.' She has acted in the film, Honey 2.She has a recurring role on "The Young and the Restless," and appearances in TV shows "How I Met Your Mother" "Brothers," "Grounded for Life," "Rodney" and "Happy Family." She denies that she got the Old Navy campaign because she looks like Kim. She said in an interview, "To me is extremely flattering, I mean she is a beautiful woman in her own right....and I'm flattered. That's an amazing compliment." She also said that the casting call for the ad was for a good dancer/actor."

A spokesperson for Gap Inc. offered "No Comment".
In my opinion, she does have a similar look, however she looks a little more like Eva Longoria. I don’t really see exactly where its making it as though they are trying to make the ad have a “Kim look alike”. I can post pictures of a few girls I’ve seen that look like Kim… I'm guessing its all a major deal after Reggie….
Continuing on...while magazine shopping, I found this….

Instyle and Cosmo both did the same cover?! Umm ok so Do you think Kim will sue for this as well?? I guess we’ll have to wait and see! :)

Till next time,

Missing sleep!

For the past 2 weeks, I have been averaging about 3 hours if I'm lucky!!! I'm trying to shake it but its not working...
I'm guessing its an over weight of stress, due to the fact that my responsibility tripled in my life since going back into music! Its caused me slacking on the sweet life. Although a positive force on my life, it is slowly taking a toll. I'm trying to work over time to make sure the project gets finished without burdening anyone else but myself. I miss sleep! But I'm finally happy, I can actually feel the path ahead is going to keep on getting better!
I used to be a negative person, but now there have been more smiles then anything, and even though I'm sleepy... I keep on, because it finally feels right!
Today being one of my sleepless ones, I'm using it as time to catch up with you guys! I'm trying to make my tiresome frustration a positive one and actually catch up as I should!
Lets hope my brain stops this over drive soon!! I'm starting to feel the changes coming and being more confident in myself! Everything is different then is was 3 years ago, but I never felt more in the right place! people have come and gone, but honestly I'm glad I have the few that stood! Besides my family, They were the ones worth fighting for! Because of the changes, I have some great new people in my life! Especially one.... who hasn't stopped being there for me since the day we met! XO

Alvex Uncensored

Censorship is the suppression of speech or other public communication which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or inconvenient to the general body of people as determined by a government, media outlet, or other controlling body.  Do I agree with censorship? Ummm....at times I guess, but in general no.  Some people may not be able to handle the truth, but we do deserve it once in a while.

As most of you may know, my nickname is "Alvex."  I was given this name in junior high by my good friend Vinny Mac aka Vincent Morris around the same time I first heard "Enter The Sandman."  Ever since then, I have done what I pleased.  I don't want a 9 to 5.  I think that's good for people who want to be normal.  It's good and has it's benefits, but it's not me.  It doesn't fit Alvex.  I want the job that will take me to Spain for a scene in a movie or up on stage at the Arnold Classic.  Even posing for Flex Magazine and shooting the breeze in Hollywood with MaleVsFemale before they go up on stage.  Everyday should be an adventure and that should put a smile on your face.

I know I'm destined for greatness as well as my inner circle.  This was something short and sweet from Alvex.

I WILL GO TO THE GYM!!!!!

As you know (if you follow my tweets @JillianValentin) I have in fact been going to the gym however haven't been super consistent, and haven't been eating as I should! i have been very on and off with my diet and cheat due to the "Happy weight"! After interviewing an artist earlier yesterday and seeing not so flattering photos, I am back on my determined state of mind!!!!!!

(Hanes white t, fruit of the loom men's sweat pants, gucci messenger bag 2009, nike ladies grip gloves, and brooks running sneakers.... oh and my fave"team Jacob" water bottle from my friend Angie)

I’m not much for dressing up for the gym; I’m a baggy clothing kinda girl!! I like wearing guy’s stuff allot, due to the fact that I don’t like causing any attention on myself! However I am thinking now maybe some new digs will inspire me to want to tread to the GYM more often, to get some use out of it, like when I would first go back to school. That feeling of wanting to finally get to use my new things lol! So here’s my wish list!!!

1. Bobble water bottle (in either black or pink, oh and the "baby" one for my every day travel..I know im a dork) been hovering over this for a while I really love em!
2. Nice, yet lose thin sweat pants... I’m not a fan of wearing tight things or having super tight elastic waist bands so mainly lose cotton or draw string, Capri’s too, for the hot days and maybe a good pair of shorts that wont show everything lol! :)

3. A nice amount of colorful nylon/cotton thin and med strap, racer back sports bras... So I can feel girly and comfy!

4. A waterproof digital rubber watch in either pink or white! Since I started swimming lately it would be cool to have one! My top fave is a G-Shock but I also love the Casio!! I also found the bangle looking one on amazon.com it’s by Aqualoops that I think is soooo super cute!! (Aqualoops woman’s waterproof silicon strap LED water watch $17)

5. Yoga pants!! No need to say more! I <3 Yoga!!

6. A few cool, long and comfy work out tanks!

Here’s to hoping I can get all these things soon, maybe even a cool lil duffle bag, I saw this nice one in America Apparel... :/
