Week 2 Predictions

Bears vs Saints

The Bears defense will come up big in this game.  I think Urlacher will have a very memorable game due to the passing of his mother.  She was only 51 years old.  Our prayers go out to her.

Winner:  Bears

Chiefs vs Lions

The Chiefs got blown out by the Bills.  I see then getting owned by the Lions.  Stafford will throw for over 200 yards.

Winner:  Lions

Raiders vs Bills

Now both these teams won their opening games.  I think the Bills will remain hot, but I like the Raiders in this one.  It can go either way so go with a coin flip.

Winner:  Raiders (best 2 out of 3)

Cardinals vs Redskins

The Cardinals are the Cardinals.  They are still trying to piece together a good time.  Redskins will top them off.

Winner:  Redskins

Ravens vs Titans

This shouldn't even be a question.  Yes, they had some great games in the past, but that was the past.  Ravens roll over the Titans.

Winner:  Ravens

Seahawks vs Steelers

I believe that the Steelers are still a force in the AFC.  I see them returning back to last year's form.  Steelers take the victory.

Winner:  Steelers

Packers vs Panthers

Cam Newton will be welcomed to the NFL in this game.  The Packers never really lost anyone from last year.  I see them going really deep into the playoffs.  Rodgers is not human.  He will come up big.

Winner:  Packers

Buccaneers vs Vikings

This one will be a close game.  I'm leaning more towards the Vikings because I believe they have more weapons.  Though McNabb is an aging quarterback, his experience and leadership is very up to pare.  Vikings pull this one out.

Winner: Vikings

Browns vs Colts

It's amazing to me how much Peyton Manning means to the Colts.  I didn't like the idea of them bringing in Collins.  I thought Painter should of been the starter.  He's only been in the system for a long time behind probably the best quarterback/offensive coordinator in the history of the game.  I don't like their chances this season.

I'm going out on a limb and hoping that the Colts get back on track, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns steal the victory

Winner:  Colts

Cowboys vs 49ers

The Cowboys should of won Monday night.  I'm guessing that no football in the offseason hurt everyone.  It was visible in Sunday night's lost against the Jets.  The Cowboys have too many weapons not to win.  They need this win and Romo needs a great game.

Winner:  Cowboys (even though I hate Dallas)

Texans vs Dolphins

I know the popular pick here is Houston, but not many people are talking about what Miami did against New England.   It was a very close game that they could of won.  Dolphins run to a victory.

Winner:  Dolphins

Chargers vs Patriots

I don't think the Chargers will give up 517 yards passing, but who says they are not going to give up 300 yards?  I'm going Pats.

Winner:  Patriots

Bengals vs Broncos

I never liked Tebow.  I really believe that he and that Florida team was extremely overrated.  I hate that college system.  The BCS aka the BS ranking system is total crap, but I like his work ethic.  The Broncos need to put him at QB, but until then . . . . I'm going Bengals.

Winner:  Bengals

Eagles vs Falcons

So we come to the Sunday night game.  Michael Vick returns to the ATL to face his old team.  This game should be a good one.  If Atlanta gets a good push from their defensive line, I don't see how they can lose.  I really believe that the Eagles weak point are their offensive and defensive line.  It can go either way, but I'm going for the upset.  Why not!

Winner:  Falcons

Rams vs Giants

The Rams hung around with Philly last weak, but forgot to wake up in the 2nd half.  If the Giants don't win this game, it will be a long season.  With that being said, I'm going Giants.  If they fall short, I wouldn't be upset because I can see the Rams passing it all over this 4 string secondary.

Winner:  Giants (I started pray this morning for a victory)
