Today's Sweet Life Health Tip has to do with morning cardio. Getting it done in the morning is a great way to get it over with. Not everyone is a morning person, so working out before work may be a task on at first. With that being said, when you do decided to go after this venture, be sure to do it right!
People claim to this day that cardio on an empty stomach will target more bodyfat resulting in weight lost. When you wake up in the morning, depending on how much rest you got the night before, you're body hasn't received anything to eat for the past 6-8 hours. To get a car moving you need gas. Your body is the same way. To get your metabloism moving, you need to ingest food as soon as you wake up. What I recommend in the morning is a complex carb before you workout. In this way, you are preserving your lean muscle, boosting your metabloism and giving your body enough energy to workout. You will feel less fatigued that's for sure. After the workout, get a protein shake in their with some simple carbs. Remember, you really haven't taken in anything besides your 20-30 grams of complex carbs, which adds up only to about 80-120 calories.
With that being said, you have already taken in two small meals to keep your body moving. So with a sweet closing, do your morning workouts. You will feel energized and ready to take on the day!
