With the new TV Show underway there has been a little bit of a stir! How do you like the new digs?
Most people are giving it a thumbs down, entertainment weekly released the photos for the new Super Heroin 2 weeks ago and a lot of people are not happy with the look, comparing it to the cheap costumes sold at any costume shop: (See below)

Or some of these more "expencive" versions worn by Celebs Kim Kardashian, and Rhona Mirta in 2008

Due to the negative press and, the costume was "tweaked". Two nights ago, the busy streets between Hollywood Boulevard Orange Drive were closed until the morning for filming one of the new shows chase scenes. The new Wonder Woman Adrianne Palicki showing off the changed pieces.
The pants and boots are the only parts that were changed, however its not much of a jump from the prior failed costume. According to G4.com here was some comments made yesterday:

1. The previously-blue boots are now a more comic-traditional red. While this wasn't much of an issue to me, there were many fans that preferred the more purist approach when it came to the color-coordination of her footwear. However, it is worth noting that the new boots are no longer on high-heels, which makes sense if you're going to have scenes where Wonder Woman chases down a runaway Marilyn Monroe drag impersonator.

2. The horrid, shiny blue pants that covered her beautiful long, silky-smooth legs -- are still there. But, they're no longer flamboyantly shiny. In fact, they seem to actually be made of a fabric of some type. This is probably connected to the same need for practicality that saw the boots get swapped. In the very least, they look far more workable.

To me, nothing is better then the original, including the curvier, more cartoon complementing original Wonder woman herself Lynda Carter, who gave both a thumbs up. So all and all, it doesn't matter what we think! Lets see how the new series turns out!
