The Wisconsin State Of Mind

The financial state of Wisconsin, along with many others, is facing a creditable debt.  I, for one, feel pretty strongly about this topic.  The way I see this issue is that the republicans of this state seem to try to take away from the education system.  The estimated budget cut for the public school system for following two years is about $900 million dollars.  I seriously don't understand why they are hitting the public school systems first.

Without a funded school system the state economy, employment, quality of education and possible crime rates will be effected.  First, the state economy will show improvements due to the budget cuts, but at what cost.  Thousands upon thousands of school teachers, administers and officials will be laid off.  That would force many to stop spending in which will result in the state economy not gaining any stimulus.  With that being said, lack of educational funding will more than likely results in cutting of after school programs like sports, clubs, music programs, etc.  Instead of the youth being involved in these after school programs, some will stray off to the streets.  As you can see this is all a chain reaction that has happened time and time again.

That leads me to the next issue of "Wisconsin's Collective Bargaining Rights."  This next "EPIC FAIL" is basically on the verge of killing two birds with one stone.  Since they are looking to cut the public school system's budget by 900 million dollars, the bill, which was passed recently, effectively strips collective bargaining rights from nearly all public workers in and makes sweeping changes to Medicaid programs.  What else can these republicans take away from there very own state.  This bill still needs some approval, but in my opinion, this is not rocket science.  America is watching will voice their opinions on this matter.

Why should the youth of Wisconsin, along with many other states, have their education slashed in this manner? It's not fair to them or to the parents of those students who teach kids rights from wrongs. Today more than ever people need to come together and fight for their beliefs. Not only that, but for "The American Way" and their pursuit of happiness. Without our right to fight, it will turn into a dictatorship and we will loose our voice and opinion.  These next two video is living proof on how people can come together to form one voice, so they can be heard.

In closing, "Epic Fail Goes To The Republicans of Wisconsin" along with every single person that voted to pass this bill.  To the protesters and everyone who is effected by this ridiculous outcome, KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT!
