The Sweet Life takes it to LOVE for Trey Songz's PPP Album Release Party!

I ( @E_LoBombShell ) and my girl and fellow Sweet Life correspondent Jan (@JanFLee) decided to hit up Trey Songz's album release party for Passion, Pain, and Pleasure in D.C. on Sat, 9.18.10. It was an interesting night to say the very least and while I must admit it was more of a chaotic experience rather than pleasurable, Jan and I managed to make the best of it. The highlights of our night to name a few were finding parking ( Yay! we got lucky after waiting in the traffic jam for almost 30 minutes), the fire alarm going off while in the club, and the two fights we saw while inside the party  (there could have been more...) one taking place on the stage mere feet away from Trey Songz himself. Please do not even get me started on the long list of cheesy, corny, wack, and disrespectful pick-up lines we heard during the course of the night... (that's a separate blog post onto itself). Oh ... and whose bright idea was it to not initially open all four floors of LOVE considering the gorgeous weather?!!! They had to resort to holding people on the first floor because the second floor was "filled to capacity"!

Side note to whoever was in charge of the wristbands ---> Trey Songz

But on a more positive note... Congrats are in order to Trey Songz for debuting #1 on Billboard's list of Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and # 2 on their Billboard 200! I've been following him since his first album 5 years ago... "I Gotta Make It" and have been smitten ever since!  You've come a long way!

A special thanks to Anwaa Kong of (@EliteDCMag), Dominique Moxey (@DominiqueMoxey), and Kal Ross for holding us down. :)
